Dog Shelter

Funded and managed by Knox County, the Dog Shelter works in close cooperation with the Knox County Humane Society to re-home as many animals as possible. Our staff and volunteers are dedicated to maintaining the health of every dog in the shelter.

An Adoption Fee of $120.00 Includes:

  • A dog license for the current year
  • Bordatella Vaccine
  • DHPP Vaccine
  • Rabies Vaccine
  • Spay/Neuter
  • A Heartworm Test
  • One month of preventative heartworm medication
  • A microchip and registration
