Soil & Water Conservation District

AGRICULTURE & WILDLIFE SCHOLARSHIPS

The Knox Soil and Water Conservation District awards $1,000 scholarships to qualifying individuals. Those students who are eligible include Knox County high school seniors or current Knox County residents pursuing their field of study in a post-secondary institution enrolled in an agricultural, environmental studies or wildlife field of study.
There will be at least one agriculture/ environmental studies scholarship, and one wildlife scholarship. The Norman Lower Wildlife Memorial Scholarship is provided in partnership with Knox County Pheasants Forever #616. These scholarships were established to financially assist students with the pursuit of a college, university or technical school degree.
During the Knox SWCD Annual Meeting, we hold a silent auction and proceeds go towards funding these scholarships. Pheasants Forever also graciously supports this scholarship fund.
